This was just down the road from my house, actually... there's a series of wetlands with a bikeway over behind the shopping centre, and I was riding past on my way home and saw this...
Yay! See, Niko, everyone likes this one! Of course it is a really beautiful sunset, that is why!
Errrgh a phrase just went through my head from the last english unit. "it reverses the natural reading path" NOOO, english is taking over my mind i am analysing every image i see. Notice you gave the sun the least dominant position, to the right of the image, making it seem like the darkness is dominant (ie. darkness engulfs, darkness creeps up, darkness swallows), and because tis a sunset, with the night taking over from the daytime, i spose this is correct. I wonder if you were subconciously remembering what our teacher said to us when you took it...pfft. Hmm i just had a poke around google image search and most of the sunsets i can see are in the left or middle of the shot, which makes the sun look more powerful... and tis a much different effect, so yours is nice and original, plus more suitable to a sunset - (with sunrise the sun should be to the right) that mustve been why i liked it so much... I could go on with my analysis, but i won't.. *resits...urge..to..waffle*
Tehe and that is my analysis on your picture... really i dont care about that i just like it! Beautiful colours and i don't know all the technical terms and all that but it looks perfect and i love it!
Hey.. you know, you're right. I didn't even realise that at all. But when I was composing it, I remembered that the one or two times I'd seen a sunset landscape in a movie or magazine in passing that had been on the right-hand side, I always thought it looked neat. So I did that.
see, haha yeah see, i told you something about your picture, that pays you back for telling me the reasons why "bees have manes"! or whatever, hair slash fur slash fuzz. And you are welcome, of course, Niko. (HAH just did that to annoy you of course)....
Man animations freak me out, those things are crazy they just keep moving in perfect sync. freaky... seeya! (it's like eleven thirty and i still have to do english and inv maths before tomorrow... *dies*) ... and... i ...am... gone.... peace------->out
Don't think this is just another news article with the usual love deviations that have already hundreds of favorites! All of these deviations don't have even 100 favorites & they're the best!
Please watch them closely and show your appreciation! @
`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More
